Aircraft Structural Mechanic. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for a skilled and experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanic to join our team. What You Will Be Doing: As an Aircraft Structural Mechanic, you will be responsible for: Modifying, repairing, and maintaining the structural configurations of H‑6, H‑60, and H‑47 rotary‑wing aircraft. You will execute scheduled and unscheduled inspections, structural repairs, and modifications on airframe structures and components, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards and supporting mission‑critical operational readiness. Perform mid-to-complex modifications to frames, beams, fuselage, wings, tail assemblies, landing‑gear attachments, doors, and hatches using riveting, fastening, trimming, sanding, bonding, and composite repair techniques. Perform inspections for structural damage, corrosion, cracks, and other defects; execute removal, treatment, and preventative programs. Fabricate, install, and replace sheet‑metal and composite panels, fairings, and structural components per engineering drawings and service bulletins. Interpret engineering drawings, repair manuals, structural repair schemes, and service bulletins; ensure accurate entry of work in maintenance logs, modification/production instructions, and military documentation systems. Perform rigging tasks to verify proper alignment of airframe assemblies and control surfaces after repairs or modifications. Provide structural repairs in both flight‑line and depot environments; coordinate with depot shops for major repairs and back-shop support. Adapt to shift variations, travel (requirement), and deployment requirements (if necessary).
