About The Position

Currently seeking an Aircraft Records Specialist - Colorado Springs, CO Experience with Records, filing, and software tracking systems desired but not required. Aircraft Maintenance background also desired but not required. BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY Monitor incoming aircraft maintenance records from all stations. Update maintenance tracking software in timely manner to ensure currency. Conduct first level quality check to spot errors before sending records on to Quality Department for final review. File records in appropriate physical and digital storage and update physical tracking cards. Periodically audit records for accuracy and currency. Assist in deep records review of newly acquired aircraft to incorporate them into Rampart's program. Develop thorough understanding of Rampart's maintenance program and specific aircraft requirements to ensure quality and precision of recordkeeping process. Responsible for the cleanliness of the records room and office space. Physical Demands: Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in tiring uncomfortable positions. May require lifting of objects whose weight may exceed 75 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus. Work Environment: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. Travel to austere and inhospitable high stress environments will be required. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to obtain a US Passport.
  • Must be able to pass drug, alcohol and thorough background check(s).
  • Must be willing to work overtime when required.
  • Must be fluent (speak, read, write) in English.
  • Must be able to provide identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
