The Aircraft Painter – Technician A is responsible for performing skilled painting tasks on aircraft and aircraft parts in accordance with OEM specifications, FAA regulations, and company quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of Painting and Paint preparation on metal and composite/fiberglass components.
• Able to read and work from blue prints and Bills of material (BOM) to ensure proper coatings are applied IAW Technical Data.
• Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all surfaces for paint by sanding, masking, filling, washing and removal of dents.
• Apply corrosive preventative treatments, primers, and finish coats of special Material.
• Complete Aircraft for customer acceptance by brush touch-up, cleaning striping lines and removal of overspray
