About The Position

Performs maintenance of company owned aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturers' maintenance instructions, and Corporate/Aviation Department policy. Works with Federal Aviation Administration, aircraft manufacturers, aircraft service centers, and parts suppliers, as required. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or completion of the GED. Two-year technical degree, accredited apprenticeship program, or the equivalent combination of training and experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Technicians License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
  • Good communications skills
  • Able to read wiring diagrams and follow directions.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, stand on a ladder and a raised platform, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Performs scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs on company owned aircraft.
  • Supports flight operations with launch, recovery, and fueling operations as flight schedule dictates.
  • May work with Federal Aviation Administration on compliance issues and Airworthiness Directives.
  • Works with vendors and suppliers to purchase parts, return cores and on inventory control.
  • Completes FAA, Corporate and Aviation Department mandated training.
  • Works with aircraft manufacturers and maintenance service providers on aircraft maintenance compliance.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
