Aircraft Integration Engineering Intern- Bothell, WA (100% on-site) At Panasonic Avionics Corporation, interns play a meaningful role in driving innovation and shaping the future of inflight entertainment. Our paid internships run 100% on-site from May/June through August/September, and all candidates must be actively enrolled students during the program. Requirements

  • Electrical & Computer Engineering, PCB Design, Battery Design, Circuit Board Design, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer programming, Wire Design, Electrical Loads.
  • Washington State University or other accredited northwest area university- need to live locally to Seattle/Everett Puget Sound area)
  • Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Applicants must be authorized to work on a full-time basis for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any type of employment-based visa at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Intern will learn engineering role and provide support to the engineer's in designing harnesses and system architecture.
  • Will attend team meetings and join technical discussions.
  • Will explore usage of software tools.
  • Support design meetings, help create engineering documentation, participate in design discussions, help develop software tools, participate in investigation for harness issues.
  • The student will gain hands-on experience in the integration of in-flight entertainment systems within a complex seat environment, which involves both mechanical and electrical design considerations.
  • They will learn how to design and route harnesses, create comprehensive wiring diagrams, and understand the interplay between system requirements and physical constraints.
  • This experience will strengthen their skills in engineering design tools, documentation standards, and collaborative problem-solving within a multidisciplinary team.
