The Aircraft Inspector Assembly role involves using and interpreting drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments. The position requires experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures, working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications, and overall working knowledge of production processes. Good communication skills (written and verbal) and good computing skills are essential. The inspector will maintain required certifications, follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies, verify that tools are qualified, prepare and maintain Quality records, and work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
  • Experience in other industries will not be considered - aerospace assembly experience is required
  • Must be U.S. citizens (due to ITAR regulations)
  • Prompt and on time daily
  • Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
  • Available to work any shift- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operations
  • Available for periods of heavy overtime
  • Blueprint reading experience
  • MS Office and SAP experience
  • Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
