About The Position

You will be an Aircraft Electrician II, responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and components on C-130J aircraft. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced aircraft electrician to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you have a strong background in aircraft electrical systems, with a focus on C-130J avionics and electrical systems. You're proficient in reading and interpreting technical data, and you have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You're also comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment, and you're able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years of avionics experience required in one of the following or equivalent fields, Communications/Navigations, Guidance Control, Electronic Warfare, Electro/Environmental required.
  • Strong aptitude to read and interpret aircraft electrical drawings
  • Minimum or equivalent of a USAF 7-Level (Craftsman).
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy Avionics/Electrical systems modification/integration/repair.
  • Experience on C-130J aircraft.
  • Proficient in the documentation of AFTO 781 forms.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, clamping, terminating, and testing electrical cables and harnesses on C-130J aircraft
  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining C-130J avionic and electrical systems, components, and related equipment
  • Removing and installing aircraft components as required, and conducting functional tests of components and systems
  • Assisting with aircraft launch and recovery, servicing, rigging, jacking, towing, and inspections
  • Reading and interpreting manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair or replacement
  • Using and applying hand tools, power tools, machines, work stands, support equipment, and special tools/calibrated test equipment
