We operate over 150 dedicated cargo aircraft, including the Saab 340B, Embraer 120, Fairchild SA227, Beechcraft 1900, and Beechcraft 99 from bases across the U.S. Basic Duties The Avionics Technician maintains the avionics system components in aircraft and on the bench $24.50 -- $42.50 per hour depending on experience and shift Refurbish avionics systems (in aircraft) Performs bench work and repair of avionics components Assures that necessary parts are ordered for repairs Performs ramp work, inspections and repair of avionics systems in the aircraft Installs, updates avionics in old aircraft, and standardizes new aircraft avionics to the fleet standards Completes paperwork, logbooks and work orders Performs other duties as assigned by Avionics Manager
