About The Position

" Opportunity Snapshot: Compensation: $35/hour Location: Carlsbad, NM Assignment Duration: 12 months+ Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ Benefits: Comprehensive with 401K, holidays and PTO Responsibilities Air Permitting & Compliance: Understanding of air permit conditions, regulatory applicability, compliance tracking, and documentation Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal air quality regulations, including routine compliance obligations Support Audio, Visual, and Olfactory (AVO) observations and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) reporting activities (data entry, tracking, quality checks—not fieldwork) Office & Administrative Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and other office software; ability to manage data, prepare reports, and maintain organized documentation. Collaborate with internal teams, support audits or reviews, and help coordinate air‑related initiatives Qualifications 3+ years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience 3+ years of relevant environmental permitting and/or compliance experience Environmental permitting, program implementation, risk identification, and project management skills Strong foundation in air permitting and compliance, including working knowledge of both New Mexico state and federal air regulations Excellent oral and written communications, teamwork, planning & organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and various Environmental databases Project management skills with minimal oversight required Must be solution oriented Availability to travel to stakeholder meetings and act as company representative High School diploma or GED required The Bergaila Way: The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant upstream oil & gas experience
  • 3+ years of relevant environmental permitting and/or compliance experience
  • Environmental permitting, program implementation, risk identification, and project management skills
