Significance Inc. is seeking a FIAR Data Support Specialist to join our growing team. This position is a hybrid role and requires an active Secret Clearance. This is a full-time role that will serve as an audit support data specialist tasked with ingesting large complex data sets to build visualization tools for decision making. The individual must be able to independently solve problems, develop recommended remediation plans, and communicate clearly and effectively to internal teams and external clients. Must be able to build compelling visualizations of complex data analysis to advise senior A4 leadership on financial improvement and audit remediation strategy, audit progress monitoring and reporting, and general audit business process compliance.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance
  • The ability to ingest, transform, and consolidate data from multiple sources to support FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) initiatives.
  • The ability to analyze large, complex datasets to identify FIAR-relevant data elements impacting government property financial reporting.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to develop informative and visually compelling dashboards for leadership decision-making and reporting trends, insights, and audit impacts.
  • Experience coding in Python (must be familiar with Pandas & PySpark) and SQL.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience within the Department of War Supply Chain operations and FIAR relevant reporting.
  • Project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple high visibility client deliverables, track project status, and mitigate project risk.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple government stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Defense Logistics Agency system of record Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) once known as Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
  • Experience serving as an advisor on aspects of federal audit and compliance within the Department of Defense, preferably the Air Force (e.g., experience managing Notices of Findings and Recommendations and developing Corrective Action Plans).
  • Prior support of property-related audit analysis and compliance tracking.
  • Sharp attention to detail with a keen eye for reviewing documentation and correspondence for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Experience with the Databricks platform.
