About The Position

Radiant Global Logistics, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Air Export Agent to join our International Operations team in Woodbury, NY. This role is responsible for coordinating international air export shipments from booking through final delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has at least two years of freight forwarding experience, strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of freight forwarding experience, with a focus on air export operations.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international shipping practices strongly preferred.
  • General understanding of airline operations and logistics processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to implement practical solutions.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable.
  • Willingness to follow established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with logistics systems such as CargoWise and SAP TM preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned air export accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service.
  • Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments, including booking, documentation, tracking, and final delivery.
  • Communicate shipment status and requirements clearly with customers, airlines, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare, review, and audit export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and export regulations.
  • Process House Air Waybills (HAWBs), Mast Air Waybills (MAWBs), and related shipping documents.
  • Arrange pickups and deliveries in coordination with warehouses and transportation partners.
  • Enter and maintain shipment data using CargoWise, SAP TM, and other company systems.
  • Provide rate quotes upon request and verify customer credit prior to shipment processing.
  • Generate accurate billing and invoices.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve shipment issues; escalate when appropriate.
  • Support team members and participate in branch or department projects as needed.
