About The Position

Key Responsibilities · Support and assist in business development initiatives. · Lead and perform on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory methods (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC). · Plan and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment preparation, and safety procedures. · Analyze collected data and ensure QA/QC protocols are strictly followed throughout testing and reporting processes. · Serve as a technical liaison with clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and findings. · Train, mentor, and supervise junior field technicians and new team members. · Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling skills equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. · Support project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership. · Keep current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adapting procedures and technologies. · Prepare and QA/QC high-quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
  • Preferably, a minimum of 10-years experience working in the Air Quality field
  • Strong computer and analytical technical “hands-on” skills
  • An aptitude for practical problem-solving
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people and team skills as well as being highly motivated
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with no supervision
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities, coordination, and consultation skills
  • Willingness to travel, and work outdoors including working long hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Collect samples at locations that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Ambient monitoring experience is an asset
  • Field/site experience is a definite asset
