This internship program is designed to help college students gain experience and develop technology, professional, and interpersonal skills. First American Interns work in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry, participating in intern-specific activities, executive-level presentations, and networking opportunities under the close supervision and guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support specific business functions within Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Accounting, and Finance.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Strong interest in artificial intelligence, product management, and business strategy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., GPT-based platforms)
An interest and willingness to learn about the Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial, Title Insurance or related industries
The ability to solve problems, be detailed oriented and be conscientious about all work completed
An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company in the best professional manner as possible

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and support custom GPTs and other AI-powered tools to enhance operational efficiency and drive business initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology teams to identify AI opportunities and support implementation efforts
Document AI initiatives, including use cases, requirements, and outcomes, ensuring clear communication across stakeholders
Define and track measurable business value for AI initiatives, including performance metrics and ROI
Develop clear and concise summaries and updates on AI initiatives for internal stakeholders and leadership
Support the development, definition, and ongoing maintenance of the Lender Division AI engagement strategy
Communicate AI strategy, progress, and outcomes effectively across teams to ensure alignment and adoption
Stay informed on emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve internal capabilities
