Handshake is looking for Machine Learning PhDs to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional academic or industry research role. You'll draw on your machine learning expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand machine learning reasoning, proof construction, and technical problem-solving. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside anything else you have going on. This is a good fit if you're a current or graduated machine learning PhD with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: Foundations of machine learning Statistical and probabilistic methods Computational and optimization methods You'll use your machine learning expertise to create domain-relevant questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy, rigor, and relevance to real-world physics research and practice. No prior AI or technical experience is required.
