Ocean Infinity is seeking an experienced AI Team Lead to guide and grow a high‑performing team building AI‑driven products that deliver real business value. This role blends technical depth, people leadership, and product thinking, and is ideal for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of AI development, software engineering, and business outcomes. The AI Team Lead will be responsible for turning complex problems into reliable, scalable AI solutions while fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• You have 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning development, with a strong track record of delivering Computer Vision based AI systems into production.
• You are a solid Python developer with experience using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn.
• You understand the full AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, model evaluation, validation, and production support.
• You have experience leading, mentoring, or coaching technical team members.
• You are comfortable planning and delivering work in uncertain, evolving environments.
• You communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• You value high engineering standards, pragmatic delivery, and long‑term maintainability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in product‑oriented or mission‑driven teams.
• Familiarity with MLOps and operational ML practices (monitoring, model lifecycle management, CI/CD).
• Experience collaborating with data engineers, product managers, and domain experts.
• Exposure to large‑scale or complex data environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an AI team to design, build, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning systems that deliver measurable business impact.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand problems, identify AI opportunities, and align on goals and success metrics.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of AI projects, including problem definition, technical approach, planning, execution, and iteration.
• Set technical direction and ensure high standards in machine learning implementation, data usage, and software engineering practices.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and support for career growth.
• Balance experimentation with production readiness, ensuring AI solutions are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
• Facilitate team planning, prioritization, and cross‑team collaboration.
• Contribute to the broader AI strategy by evaluating new tools, techniques, and architectures relevant to the business.
