About The Position

The Innovation Lab is building the foundation of Sinclair’s enterprise AI initiatives - integrating cloud, automation, and AI systems into workflows across the company. We are seeking an AI Support Technician with strong technical expertise in cloud, APIs, workflow automation, and applied AI. This position is suited for a versatile technologist who thrives on designing, building, and scaling real-world AI-driven solutions that bridge the gap between engineering, IT, and business operations, with a focus on deploying and managing AI and automation systems in development and production environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience across cloud engineering, API integration, or automation.
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong expertise with APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
  • Practical experience with LLMs (prompt engineering, optimization, or fine-tuning).
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation (ServiceNow, Copilot Studio, Zapier/n8n, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks, SSO, and compliance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with multi-agent frameworks, orchestration layers, and MLOps tooling.
  • Prior work with data governance, responsible AI frameworks, or regulated industries.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical projects.

Responsibilities

  • API Integration & Automation Develop robust API integrations between SaaS, enterprise platforms, and internal tools.
  • Design and deploy low-code/no-code automations for operational efficiency.
  • Own system integration projects from requirements gathering through testing and rollout.
  • Cloud & DevOps Engineering Manage cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI and automation projects.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Guide infrastructure scaling for multi-agent workflows and AI applications.
  • AI & LLMOps Develop prompts and optimize LLM performance for accuracy, efficiency, and cost.
  • Fine-tune or adapt models for Sinclair-specific workflows.
  • Establish monitoring frameworks for model reliability, bias detection, and responsible use.
  • Data Engineering & Integration Build and maintain structured data pipelines for AI workflows.
  • Normalize and integrate data from multiple enterprise sources (ERP, CRM, CMS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with data scientists on feature engineering and deployment readiness.
  • Security, Governance & Best Practices Understand and work with internal teams to ensure secure identity and access management, including SSO across AI tools.
  • Enforce responsible AI standards, compliance, and auditability across deployments.
  • Contribute to governance frameworks for enterprise-wide AI adoption.
