AI Solutions Lead Location: Minneapolis, MN OR Bay Area, CA Job Summary We are seeking a US-based AI Solutions Lead to rapidly design, build, and demo Generative AI proof-of-concepts with business stakeholders. This role turns business problems into working prototypes, evaluates emerging capabilities, and recommends AI advances and innovations that can transform into PoCs. The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, curious, and self-driven, with a habit of learning by building outside assigned work. This person should independently explore new models, tools, and agentic systems, bring forward ideas for promising PoCs, and work effectively with teams in India to deliver 1 to 2 week efforts. They should also use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot in a disciplined way to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in AI solution development, rapid prototyping, and prompt engineering.
  • Strong understanding of LLM patterns, tradeoffs, and limitations in enterprise settings.
  • Experience with architectures such as RAG, agents, tool use, orchestration, and retrieval workflows.
  • Familiarity with ontologies, semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and when to apply them.
  • Exposure to LangGraph Deep Agents, Databricks Genie Spaces, and similar enterprise or agentic AI platforms.
  • Demonstrated pattern of independent experimentation with new GenAI capabilities and the ability to turn that learning into practical PoC ideas.
  • Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements and working demos.
  • Comfortable with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders, with strong demo and communication skills.
  • Structured use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify use cases, success criteria, and PoC scope.
  • Design and implement suitable AI patterns, including RAG, agents, tools, orchestration, and prompt workflows.
  • Build rapid PoCs and demos that show feasibility, value, and recommended next steps.
  • Evaluate emerging GenAI capabilities through hands-on experimentation and propose new PoC opportunities.
  • Apply approaches such as ontologies, semantic layers, and knowledge graphs when they improve solution quality or usability.
  • Assess agentic systems and enterprise tools, including LangGraph Deep Agents, Databricks Genie Spaces, and similar offerings, and recommend safe enterprise applications.
  • Guide the AI Engineer, when staffed, and support testing, validation, and iteration with engineering and business teams.
