We are looking for early-career Software Engineers who are excited to work on modern AI-driven applications, distributed systems, and cloud-native services. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong programming fundamentals in one or more languages such as: Python, Java, Go, or C++
• Familiarity with software engineering concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Interest or academic exposure to Generative AI and Machine Learning, including: Large Language Models (LLMs) Prompting techniques Embeddings and semantic search Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts
• Understanding of cloud and distributed system basics (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for building high-quality, scalable, customer-focused products

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of Generative AI-powered features across Cohesity products
• Build and enhance backend services and APIs that support AI-driven workflows
• Assist in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into customer-facing experiences such as copilots and intelligent search
• Work with engineers and product teams to develop AI solutions using enterprise data securely
• Support retrieval-based AI systems (RAG) by helping improve indexing, embeddings, and data pipelines
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems and AI-enabled services
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team collaboration across global engineering groups
• Learn best practices for scalability, performance, and responsible AI development
