The AI Software Developer Intern will serve as an integral member of the Corporate IT Software Development team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following: Assist in designing, building and testing AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Agent Studio and Visual Studio Code Work with data stored in SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Fabric Support automation and integration with Power Platform tools (Power Apps and Power Automate) Follow security, data governance, and responsible AI best practices Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs

Requirements

  • Current junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong curiosity about AI, automation, and Large Language Models
  • Experience with Prompt Engineering, AI agent design and chatbots
  • Proficient in programming / scripting (Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL
  • Ability of learn quickly and work independently with guidance
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.

Responsibilities
