About The Position

EQL Tech are proud to partner with a leading AI powered education technology organisation who are seeking an AI Product Lead to take ownership of strategy and delivery across its next generation of products.
The company uses technology to widen access, improve outcomes, and support learners and educators through data informed, mission driven solutions.
This is a senior, hands on product role with real influence.
As the AI Product Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and strategy for the AI products to scale the business. You will sit at the intersection of AI, product, and education, shaping how intelligent systems are designed and deployed in real world learning environments.
You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and work closely with customers to ensure that our products meet their needs and drive real impact within their organizations.
You will lead the end to end product lifecycle for AI driven capabilities, from discovery through to launch and iteration. Working closely with engineering, data, design, and education stakeholders, you will translate complex needs into clear product direction and shipped outcomes.
This role suits someone who is both strategic and practical, comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments, and motivated by the potential of AI to improve education.

Requirements

• Experience: Experience leading AI or data driven products in production environments.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of AI technologies and frameworks, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• User-Centric Mindset: Proven ability to use user research and data analytics to develop compelling products that meet real user needs.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving results through collaboration.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences including technical teams and executives.
• Innovative thinker: A creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for AI solutions that align with market trends and customer needs.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality AI products on time and within scope.
• User Advocacy: Gather insights from users to inform product development. Create user personas and use cases that reflect customer challenges and goals.
• Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Performance Metrics: Define and track key product performance metrics, using data to inform decisions and pivot strategies when needed.
