About The Position
AI/ML Engineer The Opportunity : Design and implement effective AI solution architecture utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and met hods to address Marine Corps operational needs. Apply advanced technical expertise and full industry knowledge . Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed. Contribute to the direction of critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. Help your clients navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with artifi cia l intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, sof t war e engineering, data research, or data analytics
- Experience with sof t war e development or engineering, including in an academic or professional environment
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
- Experience with a programming language, including Python, C#, or Java
- Ability to create solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies, such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph
- Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rus t
- Ability to develop and maintain scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis
- Ability to create sof t war e for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
- Master’s degree
