About The Position

Lighthouse Software Group is looking for an AI Lead to build and lead it from day one. We partner with vertical market software businesses to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can unlock significant customer value. This new venture will focus on building a developer-first, AI-enabled SaaS platform, designed to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and scale through strong product adoption. As AI Lead, you will shape the product vision, drive go-to-market execution, build the founding team, and establish market leadership - backed by Aspire and Valsoft’s capital, infrastructure, and global operating expertise.

Requirements

  • A founder mindset: You’re motivated by building from scratch and fully owning the journey
  • 3+ years of experience building or operating AI software, API or SDK based platforms with leadership experience (e.g. Product lead, Startup Founder, or Sales/Operations lead)
  • Demonstrated success in building early-stage ventures or leading 0→1 product launches, with bachelor in relevant field
  • Strong understanding of developer-first products, including documentation, onboarding, reliability, and versioning
  • Grit and resourcefulness with proven success of operating without a playbook
  • Commercial mindset with exposure to pricing, packaging, GTM execution, and customer adoption
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business domains
  • Ability to drive the overall company vision, culture, and performance

Responsibilities

  • Lead a new B2B SaaS business built around AI and platform innovation in a vertical software market
  • Own AI strategy and execution: identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact AI use cases
  • Build and ship production-ready AI solutions that drive real customer and revenue outcomes
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Operators to ensure strong adoption and commercialization
  • Define and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy, from early adopters to first customers
  • Set product and market strategy, with a strong focus on developer experience, scalability, and integration
  • Build a milestone-based plan, allocate budget, and support fundraising with Valsoft
  • Assemble and lead a high-performing cross-functional team (product, tech, sales, operations)
  • Work closely with technical leaders to deliver high-quality APIs, SDKs, documentation, and integrations
  • Own and operate the business end-to-end, with full autonomy
