Requirements

  • Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field such as Computer Science/Information Systems, or Data Science.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Pursuing a degree in IT/Data Governance, CS/IS, Data Science, or related.
  • Excellent research and technical writing skills; stakeholder communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, or other IT/AI governance frameworks.
  • SharePoint/Confluence page building; Excel/Power BI for reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Help operationalize AI governance across policy, procedures, and guidance.
  • Develop practical artifacts (playbooks, templates) that enable compliant, responsible AI delivery.
  • Draft, review, and update AI governance PPI (policy/procedure/instruction) content and quick‑start guides.
  • Build intake and review templates; improve the Use‑Case Register workflow.
  • Perform comparative analysis of external standards.
  • Conduct user survey and compile results to determine effectives AI governance
