AI Development Intern

About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern interested in learning and applying modern AI concepts to build real-world software applications. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys working with large language models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), modern programming languages, and cloud-based application development. The intern will gain hands-on experience developing production-quality tools, prototypes, and automation workflows using state-of-the-art AI technologies.

Requirements

US Citizen
Foundational understanding of AI, neural networks, machine learning concepts, or computational thinking
Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar
Exposure to or interest in cloud platforms, REST APIs, or Docker
Ability to break down complex problems and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort learning new tools and frameworks

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming

Responsibilities

Learn and apply modern AI technologies, including LLMs, agent frameworks, MCP, and retrieval-augmented systems
Support the design, development, and testing of AI-powered applications and automation tools
Build, iterate, and refine prototypes using Python, JavaScript, or other modern languages
Assist with integration of REST APIs, cloud services, and structured application architectures
Participate in user research, product requirements gathering, and feature prioritization
Document system logic, workflows, and technical decisions for maintainable delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas from concept to production
Contribute to experimentation, A/B testing, and evaluation of AI-driven features
Assist other teams with commercial product development.
Prepare documentation for all developed components.
