About The Position

The AI Business Excellence Principal is a newly created, highly visible role designed to accelerate ideation and the adoption and deployment of Artificial Intelligence across the Home Comfort Solutions division. Acting as the primary bridge between AI IT COE (Corporate IT function) and our divisional business units, this role will function as an internal thought leader, consultant, super-user, and deployment specialist. While Corporate IT maintains governance, project execution and security, and underlying infrastructure, this role is entirely focused on business agility: identifying operational bottlenecks, developing practical AI solutions, training our teams, and driving immediate value in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is not a software engineer, but a business-minded thought leader and a change agent who understands how to apply AI to commercial, financial, and manufacturing workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business operations, corporate finance, continuous improvement, or strategic project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise as an advanced user of modern Generative AI platforms, with a strong understanding of prompt engineering, data analysis, and workflow automation.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex, human-driven processes and architect streamlined, technology-enabled alternatives (Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus).
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into plain business language.
  • A track record of successfully guiding teams through significant operational shifts or technology implementations, with a focus on empathy and user experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or hardware industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, functionally test, and deploy practical AI solutions, workflows, and prompt templates tailored to specific departmental needs.
  • Lead hands-on, function-specific training workshops to upskill employees and drive widespread adoption of approved AI tools.
  • Act as the division’s "Super-User" and primary point of contact for troubleshooting, coaching, and maximizing the utility of deployed technologies.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, breaking down resistance to new workflows through empathy, clear communication, and demonstrating tangible "quick wins."
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Home Comfort division and Centralized Corporate IT AI COE.
  • Ensure all localized AI initiatives strictly adhere to Corporate IT’s security, compliance, and enterprise licensing standards.
  • Advocate for the division's needs, securing necessary sandbox environments, tool approvals, and technical support from the central IT function to accelerate deployment.
