About The Position

Trainual is hiring an AI Automation Manager to design, build, and scale the systems that power our revenue engine. This is a high-ownership, deeply technical role for someone who thinks in workflows, lives at the intersection of AI and GTM, and gets genuinely excited about turning scrappy automations into scalable infrastructure. You'll architect AI-powered systems that improve how we prospect, personalize, and convert - connecting signals across marketing, sales, and product into intelligent workflows that help our whole team move faster. This isn't a "manage the tools" role. This is a “build the future of how we grow” role. You're an automation-obsessed builder who loves stitching together systems that make revenue teams more effective - and then making those systems better. You experiment with new AI tools weekly. You build prototypes fast and turn scrappy automations into production-grade workflows. You think in data flows and growth loops, not just campaigns or tactics. You've likely worked in growth, marketing ops, revenue ops, or sales ops at a high-growth SaaS company - and you know how GTM teams actually operate under the hood. You're equally comfortable talking strategy with leadership, enabling operators on the ground, and building the technical infrastructure that makes both possible. This role sits within the Marketing team and reports to our VP of Marketing, Jami Hartmann [https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamigio/]. You'll work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Partnerships - building systems that improve speed, efficiency, and revenue performance across the entire GTM motion. Requirements

  • You see a manual GTM process and immediately start mentally automating it
  • You've built real AI-powered workflows that touched pipeline or revenue - not just demos
  • You're fluent in modern GTM tooling and comfortable working directly with APIs, webhooks, and light code
  • You're energized by ambiguity and ownership, not intimidated by them
  • You can explain what you're building and why it matters to a VP in plain language
  • AI & Automation Tools You've built real workflows - not just played with demos - using tools like: Clay, OpenAI / Claude, Zapier, Make, or n8n, AI workflow orchestration platforms, AI-powered prospecting and research pipelines
  • Growth & Revenue Tech Stack You're fluent in modern GTM tooling, including: HubSpot, Sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Apollo, etc.), Data enrichment platforms, Website personalization tools, Scheduling and routing tools (Chili Piper, RevenueHero, etc.), Analytics platforms (GA4 or similar)
  • Technical Skills You don't need to be a full-time engineer - but you know how to build and debug real systems. That includes: APIs and webhooks, Light programming in Python or JavaScript, Data workflows and enrichment pipelines, AI prompt design and workflow orchestration
  • GTM Experience You understand how modern SaaS growth engines operate and have hands-on experience supporting sales or marketing teams with automation, data, and workflow optimization. Bonus points if you've worked in a PLG or high-velocity SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • AI-POWERED GTM SYSTEMS: Design and build AI-powered workflows that support the full revenue motion - from lead generation and enrichment to outreach, qualification, and pipeline acceleration. You'll architect scalable systems that integrate customer data, behavioral signals, and AI models to improve targeting, personalization, and engagement across the funnel.
  • REVENUE AUTOMATION & EXPERIMENTATION: Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual work and increase GTM efficiency. You'll run rapid experiments with AI-driven prospecting, messaging, and routing workflows - and translate what works into repeatable, scalable systems.
  • CROSS-TEAM AI ENABLEMENT: Partner closely with sales, marketing, and revenue operations to identify where automation creates real leverage. You'll build systems that help both individual contributors and leadership move faster - from automating prospect research to generating personalized outreach at scale.
  • DATA & SIGNAL ORCHESTRATION: Connect data across our marketing, product, and sales systems to surface actionable signals that power our GTM strategy. You'll use APIs, enrichment tools, and workflow automation platforms to make sure the right insights reach the right teams at the right time.
