About The Position

NetImpact Strategies is seeking an AI Automation Enablement Service Team Lead to join our talented Federal delivery team. This role will lead the design and implementation of AI-assisted automation and DevSecOps capabilities supporting enterprise modernization initiatives. The selected candidate will establish automation standards, integrate CI/CD and security tooling, and ensure scalable, compliant cloud-based solutions aligned with federal requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years leading DevSecOps, automation engineering, or cloud modernization programs.
  • Expertise in CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Strong AWS (including GovCloud) experience; familiarity with IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS.
  • Experience implementing automated security tools (Snyk, SonarQube, Fortify, Checkmarx).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks and secure SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, design, and deployment of AI-enabled automation frameworks supporting application development, infrastructure management, and operational workflows.
  • Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines integrating automated testing, security scanning, code quality validation, and deployment processes.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or ARM templates to standardize and secure cloud provisioning.
  • Design and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), enabling scalable and resilient application delivery.
  • Integrate AI/ML-driven tools to optimize ticket routing, anomaly detection, predictive scaling, and automated remediation.
  • Establish DevSecOps governance standards, automation policies, and reusable templates.
  • Ensure alignment with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FISMA, and agency-specific ATO requirements.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Track automation metrics and KPIs to measure operational impact and ROI.
