About The Position

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build an AI adoption program from scratch inside an AI-emergent company that is ready, and funded, to change. This is a hands-on, player–coach role responsible for both driving and executing Ironmark’s AI enablement, change management and adoption efforts. As Ironmark’s first AI Adoption Specialist, you’ll lead cultural transformation across the organization while serving as the connective tissue between business teams, the AI Council and product/engineering. You’ll educate, operationalize, measure, and scale AI usage in ways that actually stick. You’ll spend roughly: 50% driving AI culture, training, and adoption 50% identifying opportunities, gathering requirements, and managing AI initiatives This role blends education, product thinking, change leadership, project management, and systems design. It is not a traditional PM role. It is not L&D. It is not engineering.

Requirements

  • 2+ years driving AI adoption and enablement at an organizational level
  • Proven experience implementing AI inside 200–500+ person organizations
  • Active use and curiosity using AI apps in general for research, writing, vibe coding and thought partnership
  • Strong product mindset: requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, prioritization
  • Experience designing and delivering training that drives real behavior change
  • Technical fluency (you don’t code necessarily, but you know what’s possible)
  • Systems thinker with a bias toward documentation and scale
  • Comfortable navigating resistance with empathy and clarity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to track progress, measure impact, and refine strategies.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep experience with ChatGPT Team, Gemini, Claude, N8N, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, other preferred AI tools
  • Background in marketing services, creative, operations, or manufacturing
  • Experience leading AI upskilling with quantified productivity gains, digital transformation, and change initiatives
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and change.
  • Strong understanding how technology improves productivity and the ability to promote, inspire, and advocate for adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver organization-wide AI training programs, moving 78%+ of employees through meaningful AI upskilling within 12 months
  • Build AI onboarding for new hires so AI literacy is a baseline expectation
  • Develop department-specific use cases and best practices (with early focus on four lighthouse departments)
  • Establish AI-first workflows (meeting recording, knowledge bases, AI-assisted execution)
  • Identify adoption patterns, champions, and resistance points
  • Create internal AI certifications and advancement pathways
  • Track and report adoption metrics, skill progression, and productivity gains
  • Conduct AI audits across departments to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities
  • Triage opportunities: existing tools vs. custom engineering
  • Document use cases, workflows, and requirements for engineering handoff
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of AI initiatives based on impact and effort
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership
  • Measure ROI through productivity gains, cost savings, and cost avoidance
  • Guide teams to out-of-the-box solutions before escalating to custom builds
  • Complete organization-wide AI audit
  • Launch pilot training programs company-wide and with high-impact teams
  • Establish baseline adoption and productivity metrics
  • Document the company’s top AI efficiency opportunities with business cases
  • Become a trusted AI advisor to department leaders
  • Support executive and board-level reporting
