About The Position

We’re looking for a results-driven Agronomic Sales Specialist to support strategic growth across a defined territory. This role involves managing existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities to expand our presence and drive margin growth.

Requirements

  • Green Industry experience with an agronomics focus REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in account management or business development
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques
  • Proven approach to access decision makers at client organizations
  • Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate SiteOne's products and services using professional presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions
  • Understanding of sales and operations planning processes, statistical demand forecasting and integration of supply and demand plan

Nice To Haves

  • Agronomic related AAS degree or Turf Certificate from an accredited college preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business that includes both established and underpenetrated accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and customer contacts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Leverage internal resources and solution-selling techniques to support customer needs.
  • Ensure customers are aware of and utilizing available programs, tools, and support services.
  • Collaborate with store teams, specialists, and support staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor account activity, report progress, and share outcomes.
  • Resolve customer concerns by identifying issues and implementing solutions.
