Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software.
  • Experience with payroll, scheduling, and accounting business applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Metrc Cannabis Compliance Tracking System is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all financial activities including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee cash flow management and monitor financial risks.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Provide detailed financial reports to support strategic decision-making by the executive team.
  • Collaborate with various departments to analyze financial performance and assist with budgeting processes.
  • Lead annual financial reviews and coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers.
