Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in professional liability underwriting, preferably within Aging Services
  • Demonstrated success in MGA or carrier environments with program development and management
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with tech E&O, miscellaneous PL, or other specialty lines preferred
  • Familiarity with carrier negotiations and reinsurance structures preferred
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch insurance programs for Aging Services providers including medi-spas, home care agencies, pharmacies, medical transportation, and diagnostic facilities.
  • Define coverage structures across Professional Liability (PL), General Liability (GL), Hired & Non-Owned Auto Liability (H/NOA), and Excess/Umbrella Liability.
  • Lead underwriting strategy and execution, ensuring disciplined pricing and risk selection.
  • Monitor and manage program performance, including loss ratios and profitability metrics.
  • Analyze industry trends and identify growth opportunities within the $1.5B+ U.S. Allied Health market.
  • Maintain competitive awareness and differentiate offerings from carriers such as Berkshire Hathaway, TDC, CNA, Proassurance, and Coverys.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, carrier partners, and brokers to drive program success.
  • Present program updates and performance metrics to executive leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Oversee operational workflows, policy issuance, and claims coordination.
