About The Position

Agile Systems Engineer The Opportunity: Apply systems engineering principles in fast-paced Agile environments to design, integrate, and deliver mission-critical solutions. Lead requirements definition, architecture design, and documentation while driving technical risk management and engineering opportunities across complex systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integrity, implement observability and testing strategies, and contribute to secure, resilient solutions leveraging DevSecOps practices. You Have: 3+ years of experience applying systems engineering principles in Agile environments, including requirements definition, architecture design, and documentation 3+ years of experience identifying, tracking, and managing technical risks, technical debt, and engineering opportunities across complex Agile programs Experience designing and implementing automated software test plans to validate system functionality and ensure compliance with government requirements Ability to supervise others and lead deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam HS diploma or GED Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire date Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices Experience authoring CDRL deliverables that detail complex systems engineering artifacts, including requirements, interface specifications, and design documentation Experience producing government-accepted documentation and maintaining requirements traceability to support mission objectives Experience in DevSecOps, software engineering, and secure software supply chains, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated security testing Experience with IC programs and domains TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Associate Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience applying systems engineering principles in Agile environments, including requirements definition, architecture design, and documentation
