About The Position

14364 - Agile Scrum Master (onsite) – Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid, Onsite and Telework at the location listed below. Required: Experience in Scrum and Kanban with the ability to coach teams on Agile principles and implementation. (8 years) Experience facilitating all Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams or large projects. (8 years) Experience working with product owners, technical leads, senior IT stakeholders, and external vendors. (8 years) Experience in tracking and applying team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-downs) to drive continuous delivery improvements. (8 years) Experience in fostering a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-trust team environment. (8 years) Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear guidance, reports, and/or documentation. (8 years) Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence or similar platforms. (5 years) Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent. (5 years) Preferred: Experience working in public-sector IT projects, particularly those involving large-scale public facing systems. (5 years) Experience coaching Product Owners on Agile roles and responsibilities. (5 years) Responsibilities: Ceremony Management: Facilitate all critical Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across multiple teams. Agile Coaching: Provide expert coaching on Agile principles and implementation to both technical teams and Product Owners. Team Development: Foster a self-organizing and high-trust environment to improve team collaboration and output. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze team metrics, such as velocity and burn-down charts, to identify trends and drive continuous delivery improvements. Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between product owners, technical leads, senior IT stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure project alignment. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular reports and guidance to stakeholders. Tool Administration: Utilize Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms to manage workflows and track project progress.
