JOB PURPOSE The Agile Facilitator supports assigned agile teams in delivering value by facilitating effective ceremonies, helping remove impediments, and fostering strong collaboration. This role helps teams apply agile principles, stay focused on priorities, and improve flow and predictability of work. As a member of the Center of Excellence (COE), the Agile Facilitator also provides support for broader organizational ways of working through consistent practices, feedback, and partnership with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required with course work in management, information systems, and business-related fields
  • One to five years of experience in process improvement, Lean methodologies, or Agile frameworks; relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Lean Six Sigma (LSS), SAFe, and/or Scrum).
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Power Platform (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), and Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Healthcare and insurance background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate core agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement) across assigned teams.
  • Support teams in adhering to agile principles and best practices.
  • Identify and help remove blockers to keep work progressing efficiently.
  • Partner with team members and leaders to support alignment on priorities and timelines for assigned work, escalating risks and dependency concerns as needed.
  • Promote clear communication, accountability, and transparency within and across teams.
  • Facilitate healthy conflict resolution and help teams address impediments, dependencies, and interpersonal issues that impact delivery.
  • Help teams visualize capacity and plan realistic commitments to improve predictability and sustainable delivery.
  • Provide support to the Center of Excellence (COE) team and key stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Consistently demonstrates compliance with HIPAA regulations, professional conduct, and ethical practice.
  • Works to encourage and promote Company culture throughout the organization.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
