About The Position

Kforce is looking for a remote Agile Coach/Scrum Master for a client based out of Phoenix, AZ. Duties: Lead core Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Support backlog refinement and sprint execution in close collaboration with Product Owners Ensure consistent delivery and alignment with Agile best practices Coaching & Culture Building: Coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders on Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) Foster a team culture centered on transparency, collaboration, and accountability Tailor coaching to varying experience levels and drive maturity in Agile practices Continuous Improvement & Metrics: Identify and remove impediments or organizational blockers to team productivity Monitor Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, team health) and use data to promote continuous improvement Lead retrospectives and improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency Cross-Team & Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with product and engineering leaders to manage scope, prioritize work, and ensure delivery alignment Develop templates, playbooks, and shared processes to support consistent Agile execution Influence without direct authority to align cross-functional teams and leadership on goals and Agile practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Certified Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role working across multiple teams
  • Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery within complex environments
  • Demonstrated experience coaching teams at various Agile maturity levels
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to derive insights from Agile metrics and apply them to delivery improvement
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid, distributed environment and leading through influence
