About The Position

This opportunity is for a Founder to address the critical issue of unplanned downtime in manufacturing operations, which can cost $260,000 an hour. Current manufacturing systems (SCADA, PLC, MES, Historian, etc.) are fragmented, leading to manual and reactive incident response. The goal is to build an incident response layer that ingests all signals, identifies critical issues, and enables proactive action before line failures. This role will start with incident response and expand into SOP automation, trend reporting, and anomaly detection across the factory floor. Forum's AI Studio provides ambitious individuals with capital, ideas, investor networks, fundraising support, and resources to build B2B SaaS businesses from scratch, aiming for higher success rates than traditional startups. They offer a $250K USD investment, fundraising playbooks, validation partners, operational team support (business design, product, growth, recruitment, legal), GTM strategy execution to reach $50-100K ARR, MVP development, a community of mentors, and $100K worth of business perks. This is not an employment opportunity with Forum Ventures, but a co-creation partnership.

Requirements

• Early-stage operator experience, and expertise in the problem space you're building in.
• The ability to attract, hire and lead world-class teams.
• A demonstrated passion for technology's ability to change the world.
• A desire to be a venture-backed founder.
• Canada or US-based, and the ability to collaborate in North American time zones.

• Leverage domain expertise to build full-stack, AI Native services in industries where outcomes depend on expertise, regulation, and trust.
• Ingest every signal, surface what matters, and act before the line goes down.
• Start with incident response, expand into SOP automation, trend reporting, and anomaly detection across the entire floor.
