Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD or master’s degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or a related field, in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multimodal data is a plus! Utilizing RGB-D images, time-series signals, and text logs can help build more intelligent and responsive robotic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for intelligent agentic flows by exploring AI and agent-based methods that improve autonomy, scalability, adaptability, and learning in high-speed, high-accuracy robotic vision systems.
  • Design and implement adaptive agentic workflows that connect visual perception with intelligent manipulation, planning, and control for autonomous task execution.
  • Test and validate agentic systems in simulation and real-world environments, using performance data to refine models and tools.
  • Apply AI techniques such as reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and hierarchical planning to enable robots to make smart decisions in dynamic settings.
  • Utilize core tools in AI, computer vision, and robotics, including PyTorch/TensorFlow, ROS, and simulators like PyBullet or Isaac Gym.
