About The Position

As an Agency Sales Manager with Farmers Insurance , you’ll work directly with an experienced Agency Owner to grow the agency’s book of business while refining your skills in sales, client management, and multi-line insurance production. This position is designed for individuals who already have insurance industry experience and are ready to take their career to the next level through advanced sales training, personalized mentorship, and access to industry-leading tools and systems.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have prior insurance industry experience to be considered.
  • Active California Property & Casualty License (preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Life & Health License (preferred or willingness to obtain shortly after hire)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial, driven, and goal-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct detailed consultations to identify and meet clients’ insurance needs
  • Sell and cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and Specialty insurance products
  • Provide excellent service through renewals, policy reviews, and claims support
  • Maintain strong client relationships built on trust and follow-through
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Stay compliant with California Department of Insurance regulations and Farmers standards
