Job Summary The Agency Relations Representative Senior offers dedicated support to ECMC's external collection agencies by researching and resolving borrower issues, managing daily/weekly/monthly files, preparing performance reports and serving as a knowledgeable resource for internal staff and external agencies through written and verbal communication.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office

Responsibilities

  • Creates reports for internal and external use including daily performance reports, weekly placement by performance reports and monthly reports.
  • Acts as resource for staff and external agencies for updates.
  • Researches and reviews account issues.
  • Researches rehabilitation balance discrepancies.
  • Responds to telephone calls, voicemails, emails and written correspondence from external agencies.
  • Assists external agencies in the Direct Loan Consolidation process.
  • Manages balance discrepancy reports and works with lenders for additional funding on rehabilitation accounts.
  • Manages relationships with external collection agencies.
  • Effectively organizes, plans, controls and prioritizes tasks and projects.
  • Tracks, researches and resolves agency-related issues.
  • Assists with testing system changes that impact the external agency process.
  • Onboards new external agencies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
