As a member of the Licensing Team within MedPro Group's Legal Department, the Licensing Specialist assists with the onboarding, licensing, contracting, and/or appointing of insurance producers and claims adjusters, as applicable, for MedPro Group's companies. In this role, you will… Facilitate insurance producer (agent, agency, broker, wholesale producer) onboarding, contracting, and/or termination processes, communicating with producers, the MedPro Market Management and Legal teams, and others as needed. Prepare, file, manage, renew, and terminate insurance producer appointments with state Departments of Insurance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Create, maintain, and update amendments to insurance producer contracts. Maintain and update license, appointment, and other business information for use by internal and external stakeholders, and confirm current producer license information if requested. Assist employees to obtain or maintain insurance producer or adjuster licenses, including assisting with applications, test registrations, and processing associated fees. Assist with the implementation of distribution partner relationship management system changes. Ensure accuracy of licensing-related business information on company data systems. Identify and communicate solutions to arising issues and follows through until issue resolution. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements for licensing and appointments. As a subject matter specialist, represent the Licensing Team perspective when collaborating with cross functional teams (e.g., Finance, Market Management, Underwriting, Claims, Operations/IT, and Legal) to facilitate successful outcomes and resolutions for business projects. Analyze and maintain metrics in support of departmental goals. Perform other duties as needed. We are looking for candidates with… BS/BA degree (strongly preferred). Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Advanced computer skills (including Word and Excel). Ability to pivot quickly and embrace new technologies and processes. Experience with database development/management and working across various platforms preferred. Demonstrated experience in highly detailed projects with extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working within a team-based environment. Experience working within the insurance industry preferred. Why MedPro?
