Miami Children’s Museum is seeking an Afterschool Clubs Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and success of our vibrant afterschool clubs. This role plays a key part in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can explore new interests and grow beyond the classroom.

Requirements

• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a camp, school, or afterschool setting.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a genuine passion for children’s enrichment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily student transitions between classrooms and club activities, ensuring safety and smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate attendance and program records.
• Support the Afterschool Manager in coordinating club instructors and vendors, from scheduling to onboarding.
• Serve as the main point of contact for parents regarding club information, registration, and scheduling updates.
• Handle administrative tasks including registration forms, waivers, and contractor payments.
• Capture photos and videos of club activities to share the fun with families and for use in marketing materials.
• Collaborate closely with the Afterschool Manager and classroom teachers to ensure an integrated, positive experience for all students.
