About The Position

The Afternoon Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of guests, employees, and resort property. This position conducts regular patrols, responds to incidents, assists with guest needs, and supports resort operations after hours. Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to remain professional, approachable, and calm under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

First responder or military experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Patrol hallways, parking lots, stairwells, lobbies, bars, restaurants, and other resort areas on foot or by vehicle.
Observe and report unusual, suspicious, illegal, or dangerous activities occurring on the premises.
Monitor hazardous conditions, including roof snow hazards, gas meters, sprinkler shutoffs, and parking/rule violations.
Maintain and enforce trespassing rules and all federal, state, local, and resort policies.
Respond to guest and employee incidents, providing assistance with: Rule enforcement
Vehicle issues
Lockouts from rooms or offices
Shuttle and ski valet needs after hours
Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff with calls occurring after hours.
Take in, record, and manage lost and found items.
Provide medical and safety equipment to staff when needed.
Assist Law Enforcement, EMS, and Fire Services as necessary.
Provide First Aid and CPR in emergency situations.
Investigate and document guest accidents, completing all required incident reports.
Secure and unsecure operational areas for staff use.
Monitor and maintain key control logs for the resort property.
Support corporate reporting requirements, including gas meter monitoring.
