About The Position

Las Vegas Petroleum is a well-established company operating a network of travel centers, dedicated to providing exceptional service and convenience to our customers. We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Afternoon Cashier to join our team and enhance the customer experience during peak hours. Pay: 13=15 per hour depending on experience. Job Overview: As an Afternoon Cashier at Las Vegas Petroleum, you will play a key role in managing daily transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include processing sales efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service during our busiest times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and transactions accurately.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours, particularly in the afternoon shifts, including weekends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases and inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Ensure that the cashier station and store areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Work closely with team members to support efficient operations during the afternoon shift.
  • Help monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items as needed.
