Afternoon Caregiver
About The Position
Senior Helpers are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Afternoon Caregiver to help give back to our aging seniors in Kaneohe, HI. This role plays a critical part in ensuring to provide professional and compassionate care to our aging seniors in the community. As a valued member of the Senior Helpers - Honolulu-Moanalua team, you will support seniors in maintaining their independence and improving their quality of life through attentive and personalized care. Position: Part-Time Start Date : Immediate Compensation: Starting $17-$21 Location : Kaneohe Shift time : Late afternoon to evening on Weekends What you will be doing Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being. Ensure a safe and clean environment in clients’ homes. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the care team to provide updates and report any concerns. Requirements Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare role preferred. Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of seniors. Ability to work afternoons and adhere to a reliable schedule. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for helping seniors live fuller, happier lives. Qualifications At least 1 year of caregiver experience, professionally or with family. CNA license preferred. High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of background check & drug screen Able to perform physical tasks & lift up to 50lbs Reliable transportation required Benefits Competitive pay of $17.00 - $21.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Requirements
