About The Position

Afternoon Mini-Bus Driver – Part Time (2:00–4:30 PM) Perfect for Retirees, Parents, or Part-Time Workers St. Andrew's Parks and Playground Commission is looking for a reliable Afternoon Bus Driver to transport children from local schools to our After School Program at the Playground Road Gymnasium. This is a short, predictable shift each weekday and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving and wants to support youth programs in our community. Schedule Monday – Friday Typically 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM Follows the Charleston County School District calendar No nights. No weekends. No late routes. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work with children in a positive and professional manner

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children or driving passengers is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport children from school to the after-school program
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
  • Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the vehicle
  • Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
  • Communicate with program staff regarding transportation needs
