About The Position

Zingerman's Bakehouse is hiring an Afternoon Bread Mixer to work on our team making and baking hand crafted, artisan breads. Do you like to play with your food? Requirements

Availability: 8 hours shifts between the hours of 12pm to 10pm
Full time availability;40 hours per week
Weekend availability
Holiday availability
Full availability in October, November and December (we don't take any extra time off during these months)
Able to read and follow recipes
Strong attention to detail and follow through skills
Reliable team player with great attendance
Able to work independently and manage time on tasks
Able to follow verbal and written instructions
Measures ingredients accurately using a digital scale
Has good basic math skills
Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly during an 8 hour shift
Able to stand, lift and bend for duration of an 8 hour shift
Comfortable with repetitive motion activities
Comfortable in an 82 degree environment at all times

Responsibilities

Mix the dough accurately for baking
Hand-shapes multiple types of dough
