About The Position

The Aftermarket Sales Engineer – Gas Turbine is responsible for promoting all products and services offer by the Process Technology Division of Nederman with primary focus on gas turbine parts and service sales. This role with identify and define order intake opportunities, document discussions during the sales process in the CRM, and negotiate order closure assuring technical accuracy in alignment with Nederman’s policies. Duties are to include pipeline management, growth and forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field
  • 5-10 years in service/aftermarket sales.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Strong communication, presentation and writing skills
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office
  • Proficiency with CRM

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in dust collection and solids handling considered a plus
  • Sales training/certifications considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and proactive selling of parts and services. Identify new business opportunities and documenting in CRM.
  • Use all customer touchpoints including inbound leads, system reports, and customer visits to make technically and commercially accurate quotes.
  • Key account management and customer care throughout the life cycle of the customer’s asset, ensuring close and frequent customer contact, client retention, satisfaction, growth and networking.
  • Responsible for helping new customers get set up with finance, engineering and customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned
