About The Position

As a Naval Gas Turbine Field Service Representative for Rolls-Royce, you will provide in-service support to the Naval Customers and Naval Shipyards. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and some diagnosis on equipment with the aim of minimizing equipment downtime to ensure customer satisfaction. Why Rolls-Royce? You will be responsible for ensuring that specific maintenance programs are professionally administered daily, by liaising with the customer and maintaining service records upon completion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years in Maintaining, Operating, Testing or equivalent Gas Turbine Engine experience
  • Associate degree with 3+ years of experience in Maintaining, Operating, Testing or equivalent Gas Turbine Engine experience
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals in order to determine methods and sequences of assembly
  • In order to be considered for this position, you must be eligible to receive and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and can hold a valid passport

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Rolls-Royce Naval Gas Turbine products and systems. Specifically, MT30 and AG9140 gas turbine packages

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, repair and commissioning work on equipment in accordance with the technical documentation
  • Conduct tests and inspections to Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards
  • Create reports documenting the work performed
  • Extensive travel, up to 70% (both domestic and international) is required, sometimes at short notice - often required to spend multiple weeks away from home.
  • Establishing and maintaining close liaison with all relevant sections of customer organization, and Rolls-Royce management.
  • Reviewing engineering changes with regard to their effect on the product in the field, including maintenance manual updates and coordinate communication plans with customers on impact on operations.
  • Ability to meet certain requirements for visual acuity, as outlined in the Authorized Field Service Representative program, for purposes of performing essential job functions, such as visual inspection of hardware for serviceability.
