About The Position

The Aftermarket Sales / Dealer Development Representative drives aftermarket revenue growth and strengthens dealer performance by providing comprehensive operational support, training coordination, and data‑driven insights across the dealer network. This role ensures dealers have the tools, guidance, and resources needed to meet John Deere standards, while also identifying new business opportunities, supporting parts operations, and maintaining accurate compliance and performance records, through consistent communication, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams, the representative enhances dealer capability, supports network expansion, and contributes to overall organizational success.

Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated, sales oriented and committed to a high standard of customer service.
  • Ability to interpret sales data, compliance reports, and dealer performance metrics.
  • Ability to use standard computer applications and adopt new technologies quickly
  • Comfortable learning and training others on technical systems and digital platforms.
  • Effective at managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and dealer requests simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Must have a clean MVR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in dealer support, aftermarket sales, customer service, or parts operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with John Deere systems, dealer networks, or heavy equipment industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage dealer access and system permissions by assigning and maintaining user IDs within RACF and LDAP.
  • Coordinate all JDU training activities, including course authorization, assignment, updates, and compliance tracking.
  • Provide daily support to dealers on Dealer Development processes, aftermarket parts inquiries, claims procedures, and technical guidance.
  • Process training and SA invoices and maintain accurate records of active and cancelled accounts.
  • Monitor dealer compliance with business requirements, training standards, and documentation submissions; follow up on deficiencies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase aftermarket parts sales across the dealer network.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify, evaluate, and onboard new dealers within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate dealership files, applications, and cancellation documentation in both physical and digital formats.
  • Train new dealership personnel on John Deere systems, tools, and operational processes.
