We are currently looking for an Analyst, DND Dealer Agreements to join our team in Franklin, TN. Manage actions affecting the Nissan Dealer Sales & Service Agreement (DSSA). Organize Nissan’s formal review and response to Dealer proposals to update or change conditions of their DSSA. Analyze complex, confidential and sensitive information for accuracy and compliance with Nissan policy and applicable state statutes. Write, prepare and send new and amended DSSAs to Dealer. Counsel and support regional market representation managers and analysts on market rep policy and procedure. Professionally communicate and collaborate closely with other Regional and HQ stakeholders including network strategy, market studies, NREDI, dealer performance, legal, vehicle operations and aftersales.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; job involves managing reviews and documents in various states of completion.
  • Ability to digest large amounts of written information and summarize the key pieces.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly written.
  • Two to five years of directly related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business discipline.
  • Consider equivalent related college or technical courses, seminars and in-house classroom training.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with digital applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with dealership and regional office operations a plus.
  • Experience in dealer contact positions also a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and prepares signed DSSAs and other documents in DPMS (Dealer Package Management System) for various types of dealership changes in ownership, management and facilities as detailed below for Nissan Master Dealer File updates. Tracks progress throughout review lifecycle and guides Nissan Dealers with using DPMS to submit/upload documents and sign DSSA’s. Assists with resolving technical issues. Provides dealer and regional feedback regarding system to DND Agreements Operations.
  • Organizes Nissan’s formal review and response to Dealer proposals for a change in ownership or executive management. Collects and analyzes confidential documents including complex purchase contracts, organizational documents, and financial records. Works with numerous stakeholders to address unique, non-compliant or high-visibility proposals. Drafts and sends DSSAs and/or additional correspondence to Dealer.
  • Organizes Nissan’s formal review and response to Dealer proposals to update or change use or location of their Dealership facility. Works with market studies and legal to confirm compliance with Nissan policy and state franchise law. Works with numerous stakeholders to address unique, non-compliant or high-visibility proposals. Drafts and sends DSSAs, facility addendum and/or additional correspondence to Dealer.
  • Prepares Nissan’s formal review of DSSAs eligible for renewal. Reviews current DSSA provisions to ensure Dealer has satisfied all provisions outlined in DSSA, including but not limited to sales effectiveness, customer satisfaction and facility requirements. Drafts and send DSSAs and/or additional correspondence to Dealer.
  • Organizes and handles actions necessary to support establishment of Nissan dealerships in un-represented markets (open points). Prepares new DSSA once Dealer Candidate is ready to begin operations (Open Point Close).
  • Executes procedural requirements when NNA is notified of the suspension or termination of Dealer’s wholesale flooring line. As directed, prepares and sends correspondence to Dealer. Prepares and tracks delivery of all required state notices. Ensures statutory deadlines are met.
  • Executes procedural requirements before and after the effective date of a Dealer Termination. As directed, prepares and sends correspondence to Dealer. Prepares and tracks delivery of all required state notices. Ensures statutory deadlines are met.
  • Guides Regional Market Representation Managers, Regional Market Rep Analysts and Nissan Dealers on market rep policy and procedure. Communicates applicable policy, provides examples of best practices, letter templates, location of key resources, etc.
  • Prepares presentations and executes special projects, ad-hoc assignments, and other tasks as requested. Supports Manager, Dealer Agreements with collecting and assembling information and data for weekly and monthly executive-level meetings.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
